I'm thinking of joining the indian foreign service.Do you think it's cool?

I have been thinking of joining the indian foreign service.I know that it is tough to get selected,but once you are selected,it's cool.You can travel all over the world,meet new and powerful people,be in the company of millionares and influential people and be respected for what you are, a diplomat.I think this job is super-cool,what do you think?
